With a presence in Singapore, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia and Malaysia, MTM is a regional leader in Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FFE), and creates workplaces steered towards innovation, efficiency and productivity.
While MTM’s spectrum of capabilities should have placed it higher up the FFE value chain in terms of positioning, the group’s differentiation pertaining to its brand, marketing and business focus remained unclear, and this resulted in misaligned market perception. This was exacerbated by the competitive sphere it was a part of, which included global giants like JEB, Haworth and Steelcase. Coal worked with MTM’s senior management and key personnel to establish the group’s much-needed differentiation, establishing better focus and clarity in regards to its value-chain positioning, regional communication and brand implementation. After MTM’s campaign, the group saw a dramatic rise in its revenue – a direct result of the growing number of FFE projects under its belt.
